Getting ready to start the 5% Spring Challenge and am hoping it gets me off and running..really getting frustrated with the scale going the the wrong way. trying to get my health issues resolved and my eating habits under control.

I will continue to get at least 60 minutes of exercise in on most days. I will strive to get my sweet tooth under control as well. Moderation in everything is my motto!

So excited for a new adventure.

I am making some big changes in my life and I hope that this will help me get back on track. I do need to get some of my snacking and comfort foods under control but should not be too hard. I already have an active life style so activity has never been an issue for me. I need to start cooking more healthy for me and my family.

I hope I do much better on weight loss this challenge then I have done in the past - I am getting tired of spinning my wheels.

I am now seeing a nutritionist and am very excited to see what plans she has for me.

My motto this year is: Lord - grant me the serenity to accepts the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.

My Goals:
To lose 5% of my weight this Spring- during the 5% challenge. That would be 12 pounds - I would like to aim for an even 15.


My Program:
Exercise 60 minutes a day and 30 minutes a day on the weekend.




Personal Information:
I live in Pennsylvania. I was born and raised here. It is a very beautiful town.


Other Information:
I love to read. I also love to excercise. My favorite excercises classes are spinning, zumba, and strenth training. I also golf and bowl.

    I'm doing a bit better with cardio but taking a couple days to get back on track with my eating after having no groceries. For some reason strength training has become hard to get in but I think it's just a laziness problem LOL. I'll get over it. I'm off to my Dad's for breakfast and to see a friend from the other side of Canada. Have a great day!
