I am used to always being the "big guy" everywhere I have been. Its time for a change. I don't want to rally on that excuse no more of always being the big game. My hopes are that this new lifestyle that I have taken will introduce me to a world I am not accustomed to. Only God knows where this journey will take me. But no more excuses. It is time to put up or shut up. If want my wife and daughters to be proud of their father I have to accomplish this goal. Wether this new lifestyle leads towards the military or a new career, I will accept this challenge and conquer it.

My Goals:
I don't like to set goals, because I put myself down when I fail..I am however determined to lose 80lbs by August 2014. I am hoping this lead to better career opportunities, if not lead me to my overall dream of joining the military.

My Program:
I started the Advocare 24 day challenge as I kick start to my continue weight loss effort. I am trying to limit my calorie intake between 1500-2250 a day semi-low carb diet, along with water (only) to drink. For exercise I am going to try and workout 5/6 times a week with light ST but mainly cardio for now. I just started the 100 pushups in 7 weeks program so I am hoping it goes well.

Starting Weight:
08/20/13- 329 lbs
08/27/13- 324.8 lbs

Personal Information:
Jordan

Hayden, AL (Small Town USA)

I am a Christian to start off with. I owe all that I do to Christ because he has been with me through my darkest and brightest of days. Don't know what I would do without my relationship with Christ.

I have a smoking hot wife (Kari) and 2 daughters Hannah (3) and Leah (1). They take up most of my time right now. I am also the Offensive Line Coach for a Semi-Pro Football team, the Alabama Warriors.

I am determined to meet my goals this tame for the sake of my life and my family

Other Information:
I love to hunt and fish. I enjoy all sports but most of all SEC Football. I am a Christian and love my Lord and Savior.

"It is not how we fall, but how we pick ourselves up and keep moving forward. How much we can take and keep moving forward, because that is how winning is done. Cowards quit and that ain't you!. You're better than that!"

Still here, and welcome back :-)

I have two jobs now (finally found a design one) so my activity level will be less frequent, but life's going good. :-)

    I hope you're doing well.

Thanks! I've stayed away from the candies so far. But I may buy one cadbury egg.

Thanks for the blog comment! Sorry it took me so long to reply. I've been a slacker :X

Funny, my husband and I are opposite. While he's not "small", he's much more fit than I am. He is a Marine Veteran, so used to run all the time. Me- never. For years before this, I wanted to do it alone, and not have anyone see me working out. Now, we've committed to doing this together, and it's working. We are keeping each other motivated, but still doing our own thing. For the most part, we don't even talk while we're in there, haha (there are TVs on the machines, so headphones in, and go!).

Great job on being the biggest loser this week! I looked into the Spartan Race, I don't think I'd be ready for a race like that until I run a few regular half marathons and some 5k mud runs. Then I realized the "beast mode" version was what you were talking about... (!)... maybe in 2015 LOL! It seems fun, but I don't feel I can dedicate as much training for it right now, I can run on smooth flat surfaces.

That's cool that you'll be in SC. Winnsboro is about 3 to 4 hours away from me however. My first interview ever was at Parris Island which is semi close. That area isn't that exciting.
