Introduction Text Hi, I'm Mandy! I'm 32 years old and live in Chicago. I've been a world traveler in the past, going from San Diego to Mexico to the Bahamas as a pro scuba diver and now I've settled in Chi-town to go back to school to become a lawyer. I love to read (especially on my Amazon Kindle), travel and talk! This is my fourth year on Spark. I lost 20 pounds in 2009, kept most of it off for 2010 and 2011. In December of 2011, I had surgery to remove a benign tumor from my left pointer finger. The tumor came back over the summer and in December 2012, I had my finger amputated. Now that my hand is functioning well again, I am all out of excuses of why I can't get back into tip top shape! I am on Spark to work on getting the body that I want -- I am tired of just being a pretty face!

My short term goal is to be healthy. I want to make sure what I eat is healthy, that I am getting enough exercise and that I am getting enough sleep!

I scuba dive almost every day but that is not really a fat blasting workout. I am going to be running on the beach, doing strength training at home and I do Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred workout video. It's killer!
