Learning to Love myself the way God does & take care of my body because I'm worth it!
Wow! I can't believe I've been away from the SparkPeople site for so long! Here it is 2011 & I'm finally getting back on track with getting healthy & taking care of myself because I deserve it. Not because other people want me to, but because I finally am at a place where I Love myself enough to get healthy & stay that way! It's been an interesting Journey the last 3 years or so since I stopped logging in. I've been dealing with the emotional issues that have held me back from being ...
Wow! I can't believe I've been away from the SparkPeople site for so long! Here it is 2011 & I'm finally getting back on track with getting healthy & taking care of myself because I deserve it. Not because other people want me to, but because I finally am at a place where I Love myself enough to get healthy & stay that way! It's been an interesting Journey the last 3 years or so since I stopped logging in. I've been dealing with the emotional issues that have held me back from being sucessful, allowing God to health the deep wounds & process through the deeply barried pain from decades of trauma. Learning to Love myself the way God does & believe in myself enough to go after my dreams has been an exciting process. The freer & more healed I get the more it excites me to now be on the path to a total head to toe transformation, that began on the inside & now it's time for the outside to catch up with what's been happening on the inside!!!
************My Short term goals************
October 2011
*Be more concious of the Calories I am consuming
*Eat a more balanced diet of protein, fruits, Vegies &good carbs
*Workout at the gym 3 days a week minimum
*Continue working on the Manuscript for my First Book
*Lose 10 Lbs minimum
November 2011
*Workout at the gym 3-4 days a week
*Continue making healthy food choices & make a few new ones
*be able to keep daily calorie intake between 1200 - 1550
*Lose 10 Lbs minimum
*Continue working on Manuscript
December 2011
*Workout at the gym 3-4 days a week
*Find a few new healthy food choices that are High protien, low fat, low sodium, low sugar, gluten free, wheat free, corn free, buckwheat free, lental free, sesame seed free, & chicken free
*Keep Calorie intake under 1550
*Lose 10 Lbs minimum
*Finish Manuscrips 1st draft by Dec 24th

My Goals:
My goal is to get back to a healthy weight of 115-120 by or before October 5th 2012. I have about 100 - 116.1 lbs to loose before next Fall to accomplish this goal.
Also in the process of losing the weight, & making the right food choices (i.e. cuting out soda, fast food, junk food, etc) to reduce the joint pain & inflamation, & have more energy to enjoy life & do everything I want to see/do.
To become a published Author & World Changer!
My Program:
To eat the right foods for my Blood type. Wheat Free, Gluten Free, Low Sodium, Low Sugar, High Protein, Fruits & Vegies, & Good Carbs (i.e. Brown Rice, Rice Pasta, etc.)
I Do a Full Body Workout 3 days a week minimum, minimum of 20-30 mins of Cardio 3-4 days per week, & Stretching really good afterwards.
Personal Information:
My name is Deborah. I have been a single mom for 20+ yrs & lived in Las Vegas, NV for a little over 4 yrs before moving to Redding, Ca in August of 2010.
Last yr my oldest daughter who'd been adopted when she was 5 yrs old found her younger sister & I on Facebook & we've begun to develop a relationship. We've yet to see each other in person, but I know that will happen when the time is right, just like her finding us.
My oldest (22 yr old) is a Senior in college & working on finishing up a double major in Animal Science & Veternary Medicine. She also has a great guy in her life & can't wait finally get to see both of them.
My youngest (20 yr old) is getting married in Dec, to a great young man who's in the Army. He's Stationed in Germany for the next 3 yrs, which I'm not happy that my baby will be so far away from me, but I believe he will take good care of her & wish them the all the best.
I am so proud of both my girls & want the best for them.
Other Information:
I'm the founder & missionary of Global Freedom Fire Ministries & am currently working on writing my 1st book. It's about my life & my journey of healing, health & wholeness; spirit, soul, & body.
Over the years I let myself go after having my girls, as taking care of everyone elses needs became more important than my own. Until last year litterally had no self-esteam, self-confidence, or Love myself very much. I've finally Love myself enough to know that taking care of my health & my physical body is extreamly important because if I don't, I won't be around long enough to do all the things I want to do or have the energy & strength to go all the places I'm called to go.
God has been working on me, healing past hurts, & showing me over the last several yrs, the roots bitterness, unforgiveness, rejection, & self hatered that have been at core of my Eating Disorders & why I never thought it was important enough to take care of me, or believe in myself.
