Hi everyone my desire from this group is to lose some weight and learn to be held accountable.

I'm trying hard to eat right and do walking right now.
I'd like to start on some beginner exerises, so I'm watching video's first.
I have a resistance band and now a exercise ball.

Searching for a routine I can accomplish.

My Goals:

To walk to get healthier.

New goal to walk a 5k. Just got that goal last night.

Do a bike ride with my husband around the bike trails. Once we get our bikes.

Lose 23 more pounds by July.

Be a happier and healthier me. :)

My Program:
I am walking my dog right now. Iv'e made it to 2 miles for the day just walking him. But a total of 3 miles with all walking done during the day.

Waiting on my new shoes and my foot to heal so I can do a consistant 3 miles.

Waiting on the bike funds to happen to get bike.

Eatting a healthier diet to lose pounds to be a better me.

Enjoy the outside as the Lord gave it to me to bless me. He is so good at what He does. No i'm not surprised.

My name is Darlene Austin and I was born and raised in Indiana. But now live in California.

I am married to my wonderful husband since 2002.

We have 5 children and they have blessed us with 9 grandchildren as of now, but 1 more is coming in June and another in July. I'm so excited.

We have a dog-Dominio. He is a Border Collie Australian Shepard.

Right now I'm a stay at home mom to my dog. I know funny huh. He loves me. :)

    Thank you so much for the simple remedies. 😛 I greatly appreciate it. I figured if baking soda would help with bloat with my livestock why not people. Lol. I really like the mustard one. I love mustard! Wishing you a wonderful day. 🌺🐾🌺ðŸ

    Thanks for the goodie. I'm glad I could help. I haven't been too active on the Over 50 team. I wasn't seeing a whole lot of activity. I got an invite to join the "You are not Alone" team so I joined and am glad I did. There is so much support that I have been thinking of leaving the Over 50 group. I have lost 5+ pounds in March. We have a lot of fun. If you want to join, you are more than welcome. It's a religious team, so if you want to just pop in and have a look around, go ahead. We are doing an April challenge starting tomorrow. No Chocolate, Take a walk, get 25 to 35 g of Fiber and eat a fruit. I'll probably be grumbling cause I love chocolate. It's fun, there's really no winners or loosers but we have fun and support each other.
