I have lost well over 100 pounds and have managed to keep it off for over 6 years (so far). Health concerns spurred my weight loss and I have kicked Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and all the other obesity related problems to curb. I'd like to lose some more to get to the healthy BMI range and feel better about myself in general. I am never going back to the "Before" and am living my "Now".
I have lost well over 100 pounds and have managed to keep it off for over 6 years (so far). I'd like to attain a healthy BMI.
My Program:
I used Weight Watchers to lose my weight, but have been pretty stagnant for over 3 years, bouncing around a few pounds here and there but managing to maintain. I do not want to maintain at this point, I want to lose the rest. Perhaps a closer look at my calories will do the trick!
Personal Information:
I am 57 years old. Married for 34 years to Mr. Perfect! I have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren. Since weight loss, I've become very healthy and active and love to hike, walk my doggie boyz, cycle, swim, bowl, and most recently I have developed a passion for the "weighted hula hoop". I go to the gym "most weeks" 3 times for circuit training (cardio and strengthening intervals). I love to bowl and usually am on at least 2 leagues at any given time. I could do none of this prior to losing over 100 pounds.
