Well... My name is Crystal I am 5"2. When I was young I was always real thin, I never went past 116 lbs. When I got married everything chained, my diet, and well everything.... I got to 147 lbs, and well I had tried many times to lose weight, I had only went down to 141 by the time I quit. Well now its diffferent. I am doing this weight loss for myself, to be healthy, and to feel good about myself. It has been about 6 weeks, I walk no less than 5 miles a day and watch what I eat. I have been losing 2 lbs a week :) soooo I am now down to 135 (probly even 134 now) and have lost about 2.5 inches around my waist :))) Sooo I am still going strong, my goal is to lose 17 more lbs.

Update : 7/5/11 -- So I weighed myself like 2 days ago and I am down to 132 :) I lost 2lbs in a week. I feel great about myself. I am trying to jog everyday... I can jog 9 min non stop now... when before I could only do no more than 1 1/2 minutes. Yesterday I tried on a bunch of my shirts and well they all fit lose on me now !! :0 I am down to a size 6 in pant size, my waist is at 29 3/4 " , I've already bought this super cute bikini bottom that I wanna wear, I am thinking of putting on my bikini with nothing over when I get to 129 .. I want to get in the river with a bikini with nothing over this summer... Soooo I am going to strive for my goal! :)

Update 7/12/11 : Soo this last week hasn't been so great, I haven't exercised as much as I wanted, I've been walking every other day...have been going to the river, and went camping so I really didn't have the chance... then the day after camping I felt horrible because the night we camped was soooo hot, then the next day spent the entire day at the river, so I got pretty sunburned... Soo I haven't weighed myself.. I hope I haven't gained, anyway sooo today I walked 1 mile to warm up, then ran the other mile non stop :0, then walked the other mile, and ran the other mile non stop :0 Soo feeling pretty accomplished :)

Update 8/12/11 -

Sooo as you all can see, I weigh 131, well since last time I weighed myself. My scale here at home says 130, but I usually weigh myself on the scale at my local kmart, its one of those scales in which you put a quarter in. I was stuck at 132 lbs for the longest time, it was about a month. During that month I still kept on exercising. But it wasn't until I realized that my body had gotten used to my routine. Every morning I'd get up at 5:30 am and go for a walk/jog. The week in which I finally got rid of that pound, I had switched to the elliptical in the morning, then go walking/jogging in the afternoon. It really did help. This morning I got up and ran a mile in 10min.. I couldn't run more, my legs didn't ache, and my chest felt fine, it was my right rib which began killing me, it hurt soo bad I had to stop. So I walked back my other mile. Anyway, besides that, I feel way better. I feel more energized than I have ever felt. I can actually put on a shirt and not feel "disgusted" like I did before. Seriously, I am not kidding, before at almost 150 lbs (and being 5"2.. any extra lbs really did show on me). I would get ready for work and try on a bunch of shirts and I'd be sucking in my stomach, while at the same time feeling "sorry" for myself... Feeling like the ugliest girl in the world. I couldn't stand seeing that double chin of mine, and putting on makeup to only end up telling myself I was just fat and ugly. I spent a long time like this, maybe about a year feeling like this. I just don't see why I didn't start this journey earlier. I've realized losing weight is not just about looks its about health and about the inner me feeling happy with myself. Losing weight was easier than I thought, with exercise and a good amount of nutrition I've lost weight, and proud to say I only have 13lbs more to go to reach my goal weight.

Soo here it goes to my goal weight .. "117 lbs"

My Goals:
Put on a purple shirt from when I was in highschool, and have it fit lose on me... :)

Wear a bikini this summer.... work in progress... when i get to 129 lbs I will put a bikini onnn.. :)

My Program:
walking on canal bank 2 miles total.. and sometimes walk twice so end up with a total of 4 miles in the morning... and sometimes do elliptical also... and walk in the afternoons at the park.
I try not to go over 1200-1400 calories.

If I am craving cake I eat cake, but only a small amount, its all about portions :)

    Hey girlie! Thanks for commenting on my status today-- but I need to say... NO FROWNY FACE!!! You CAN RUN 2 MILES!! (exclamation points!!!) :) :) :) Happy faces! Everyone starts at the beginning, girl. Don't forget-- Just one short year ago from today, I was THRILLED to be able to finish my first EVER two miles straight. It's an accomplishment. Each step in the journey is to be celebrated. Don't ever play yourself down. ;)
