Introduction Text Hi, I am a 42 year old pre-menopausal woman so you may not want to get to close to me! (JK) My true body size is slim, but after child birth I have yo-yo'd back and forth. Currently I am in the "forth" mode. I just want to get back to a healthy weight and be physically fit for the rest of my life. I also want to set a good example for my daughters.

Get back in shape, and drop the 40 extra pounds I've been dragging around (again)--this time for good!!!! I want to have energy and feel my hip bones again when I'm lying down!

Currently, on the South Beach plan; the jury is still out to see if this is one that is realistic for the long haul; if not, I'll adjust my plan. I am working out at the YMCA and am committed to cardio a min. of 3X/week and weight/resistance 2 to 3 X/week. Did I mention I don't like to sweat?

I am from Springfield, TN which is about 25 miles north of Nashville. I have been married to Tommy for 17 years. We have two great daughters, one in college and the other in high school. My husband and I both work at the same place which is owned by his father -- can't imagine why I might eat due to stress???!! Oh yea, I quit smoking about 7 months ago :-)

I love to garden, it clears my mind. I love my friends and family, playing on the computer, scraping and stamping, vegging on the couch watching any kind of reality TV. Why I do this, I have no idea. I like to help my community and enjoy my walk with Christ.
