NEW-CAZ
Hi Kelly nice of you to drop in and notice my efforts LOL. The Olympic Village will be turned into flats for sale and a number or arenas will be up rooted and moved (all financed privately) those that are staying put will, in the main, be refurished for use by the local communities. I think 6 out of the 7 main ones have private funding in place to take over once the games are done. Seb Coe was determined we'd have no WHITE ELEPHANTS.......just hoping this proves to be the case, only time will tell.
Love the sound of all your fairs, used to love them, sadly rare here now. Are you looking forward to the Closing Ceremony- looks like it'll be another shoe stopper.......a Celebration of British Music over the past 50 years with over 3000 volunteers participating as in the opening. Hope it doesn't rain....it's treatened!

Hi Kelly Glad to see you're still around hun, hovering in the background. I am loving the Olympics...didn't think I would as I've been moaning about the hoards of people cluttering up the roads and trains, and the various hitches that plagued the pre Olymic run up....all well publicised. But now I've seen the opening ceremony (moved to tears with pride and laughed out loud at Mr Bean and the Queen's spoof James Bond-esk entry) I am turned around and tuned in from the lounge to as many events as pos.
Have a wonderful swim and love to you and yours from me and mine 3138 days ago
