I am a mom of four (ages 13-18 yrs), a wife to a sweet supportive guy and am a "retired" social worker.
On March 31, 2014 I weighed 276 lbs and decided that I HAD to do something if my body was ever going to match the woman inside. I juiced for 3 weeks which I credit changing my taste buds and my cravings. During those three weeks I read and decided to follow the Eat To Live program. October 1, 2014 marked my six month journey and I am so excited to share that I have lost 75lbs! My back pain has lessened greatly (yippee!), feeling in my toes and fingers has started returning, and my migraines have all subsided. I am trying to move my fanny 5x times a week with a combo of yoga, strength training and lots of walking.
This journey has been hard, exciting, and I find myself focused on NEVER EVER returning to old habits. I have 25lbs to make it to my goal for weight. My REAL GOAL is to continue taking care of my body and soul.
What I missing is being a part of a group. I love cheering others on and finding a kind word when I'm having a bad day.
Glad to have found SparkPeople and hoping to continue on my journey with new friends.

- Reach 100 lbs LOST!
- Learn to run and complete a 5K by my birthday in May.
- Teach my kids healthy habits so they don't repeat history


My Program:
- Eat To Live
- Exercise 5x week with a combo of walking, yoga and strength training
- Drinking lots of water
- STAYING POSITIVE
