Last year, I ran my first marathon. I then spent the next six months slowly relearning how to sleep in on Sunday mornings and occasionally throwing my shoes across my cubicle at the thought of going for an after-work run.
I've decided I like being active more than being a couch slug, but I need to convince my body of that.

I'll be following the next five months of training as I attempt to climb back from being a sometimes runner with too much of a fondness for cake, to hitting the scary new goals I know I can reach.

My Goals:
I'd like to get rid of this irritating 10 pounds I found, because I know how fast 3 turns into 5 turns into 10... and I don't want to see how quickly that can turn into 15 or 20.
Weight lost: 0/15
The big goal for 2014 is to write a new PR time goal next to all four distances I've raced. The 10k and the HM are going to be particularly challenging. That's what makes it interesting, though
5K: Not yet
10K: Nope
HM: You wish!
Marathon: Working on it.
My Program:
I'll be running 4-5 days a week, incorporating strength training two days, yoga once a week, and hopefully one day of cross training.
Yikes... how did I do that last year?
Personal Information:
I'm originally from Victoria, BC, but I've lived in Calgary for the last 13 years. I miss green.

5k: 27:17
10k: 55:56
Half Marathon: 2:00:37
