5% Challenge Commitment
EXERCISE: 30-60 minute walk every day
30-60 minutes exercises every day
DIET: 1250-1550 calories, American Heart Association: Focus on heart healthy foods. Low fat, low sodium, and low sugar.
Five freggies and 64 oz. of water daily.


THE UNDERDAWG OATH

that I will do my best to eat healthy and within my calorie range,

My Goals:
updated 3/5/2020 : Life happens - I put my goals on hold so I could become a Care Partner for my husband and do his Home Hemo Dialysis treatments. I was in maintenance mode most of 2019. Things are going so well with my husband that I am going to have time to Spark this year.



Long term goal: Be strong and healthy so I can donate a kidney to my husband. He has been on dialysis since March 2016 after failure of his transplanted kidney from 1997.
Short term goal: Lose 5% in the spring challenge.

Completed Goals:
Goal: Drop another size by spring when other son graduates college May 6, 2017 (goal met 4/15/17)
Goal: Drop one size before Christmas so I can go shopping for a dress for my son's wedding which is February 18, 2017. (Goal completed 12/18/2016)

Highest weight 210 pounds (2005)
Lowest weight since having kids 165 pounds (2008)
Started my Spark journey at 178 pounds (10/16/2016)

MENU PLANNING - Log everything you plan to eat the day before and adjust to meet diet criteria and stay within calorie range on most days.



Personal Information:
I am 54 and have been married for 33 years. We have two adult sons. Oldest son is married and moved out. Both he and his wonderful wife are Meteorologists. Youngest son still lives at home graduated college May 2017 and is a substitute teacher at our school district.
