I did so well on Spark People for a year and then as I have done in the past I let life get in the way of my health.

I now feel it is critical for me to lose. Suddenly I feel if I don't do something now my heath is in real jeopardy. When we are feeling fairly healthy and have gotten away with bad eating habits we let all those excuses get in the way of dealing with our weight.

All in all I know that I can do this if I choose to. I remember once hearing Dr Phil say you continue to do things the same way if you are getting something out of it. Let us all look deeply into whatever it is we are getting from overeating. Whether it be comfort food, control or the pleasure of eating foods we like. We can control this if we set our minds.

I am now facing bad labs. I am very close to Diabetic and my doctor will check again in 4 months. I think she is willing to work with me to get them down but I think she doesn't expect progress next time. But I know I will make great strides. This is serious. I do not want to be Diabetic.

I lost 3 today. That is 6 in the past two weeks. I can do this. It is only food!

I am back to tracking my food and taking care of me. Please join me!

Glad my blog made you smile. I have even more of these now, so I guess it's time to do a 3rd one.

I wish I could cut my own bangs. LOL They are always crooked.Cow licks don't help.

I talked to my hairdresser too. she has decided to close for a while. Boy it will be hard to get appointments.

Our hair stylist has her own business. She's only open a few days a week, and I know she watches her grandson at least once a week. But I'm guessing once she opens, she may extend her hours and even add another day or two each week until she gets caught up, both to help her clients and to help make up for the days she had to close, since she still has bills to pay even if she's not open.

All the hair salons in my area are closed as non-essential businesses, so one friend found that picture as a way to smile over the situation (I guess it's a poodle cut?). I have another one which says how you'll look after 18 months of cutting your own hair which is pretty hilarious. Hopefully the shutdown won't last too long here, and things will start to be allowed to open up, but fortunately I DO know how to trim my own hair and used to cut my hubby's hair for years before he finally found a stylist who did a good job. Hubby usually asked me to cut his on Sunday morning as I was trying to get myself and the kids ready - not really good timing
