I was never much of a runner, but last year in preparation for our wedding, I started hitting the pavement. Started running 5K's, 10K's, 12K's...and worked my way up to my first half marathon. Although I never really did it for speed, I really enjoyed it. Running over the winter is difficult for me but as spring time rolls around, I am back at it! This year I plan to run a marathon! Training has commenced and I am looking forward to the results!

As an animal nutritionist, I have a good idea of how nutrients react in the body. It has helped me better understand my needs and tailor a diet accordingly. I can get a little OCD at times, which can hinder my progress, but thoroughly enjoy learning more about the human side of nutrition!

My Goals:
Last year I lost about35 lbs and reached my goal weight. I gain some back over the winter so now I am just trying to get to a point of maintenance at my goal weight again.

Cardio, cardio, cardio! Training for a Marathon and P90X with my husband in the mornings!

Following the food pyramid and eating clean (at least 90% of the time). I like to watch my sodium and carbohydrate intake as I have some negative reactions to excessive amounts.

I am in research and development and an animal nutritionist specializing in equine.

    Hey Hey Hey! It was SO nice to see your note this morning! Really! :) I hope we can stay in touch again. Wedding planning is going well; all the "big" things are figured out and now it's kind of early for some of the smaller things so I am not in "stress mode" yet (wedding is next September). I have been running and biking still but feeling a need to something new too. I'm thinking about asking for roller blades for Christmas! Otherwise, life is pretty normal. I recently joined a 7 week challenge on SP in a Biggest Loser format. I don't plan to win at all, but the motivation is good for the holiday season. I am in three weddings next year, starting in Feb and I wanna look good!
