Introduction Text Hi, my name is Angie and I am a new mom who is trying to lose the rest of the pregnancy weight. I lost over 40 lbs on Weight Watchers, but reached a point I was no longer losing any weight so I have switched over to the Atkins diet and am starting to see the numbers on the scale go down...Yayyy...lol. I am happily married to my best friend and feel so blessed to have him in my life. I use to work in the Medical Profession, but am now a stay at home mom and am loving every minute of watching my daughter experience all her first at this age. I enjoy cooking, making crafts, decorating my home, shopping, swimming, hiking, bike riding, flying, acting, traveling, reading, spending time with my family and friends, and spending time at the beach. I am excited to be on Sparks People and am looking forward to meeting new people to share our weight loss journey together. To lose the rest of the pregnancy weight so I can run in my first 5K. To be a better role model for my daughter. To finish scuba diving lessons. To be healthier and more active.

I am currently following the Atkins Diet and am doing cardio and strength training 5 to 6 days week.

I have lived near the NC Coast my whole life and love spending time at the beach. I am a goal oriented person who is always down for a new and exciting adventure. The first time I was on an airplane the pilot let me fly the plane over Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. The plane I flew was a Cessna Skyhawk. That amazing experience taught me that I can do anything I put my mind to. I have also done some background acting on the TV show "One Tree Hill" and would like to do more acting in the near future. I love to laugh and I love to make others laugh. It truly is the best medicine. I worked in the Medical Profession for several years, but am a stay at home mom now and am loving every minute of it. I do plan on returning to work once my daughter starts school. I have PCOS which makes gaining weight easy and losing weight difficult, but I am determined to take the weight off and keep it off. Still trying to find the perfect diet that works best.
