Introduction Text At least for me it is going to begin at fifty. I am through with putting things off until I 'lose weight' like I have for most of my adult life... now here I am at fifty and I have missed so much. I don't want to waste anymore time. This is my virtual model at my current weight and my first goal weight of 155. I love this visual because she actually looks alot like me in the face & hair etc. so it makes it easy to visualize myself at my goal weight. I will post some actual pictures soon.

Well, it's official, I am actually 50. For most of my adult life I have been making plans for the day I finally meet my weight loss goals. When I look back I can't believe the time I have wasted putting things off until I 'lose weight'. I think it is time i quit wasting that time and concentrate on living life to its fullest. My goal is to achieve a healthy body on the way.

I think for the first time, what I am really interested in doing is leading a healthier lifestyle. I plan to add more fresh veggies & fruits to my diet and restricting bad carbs and sugar. Also drinking more water and (yikes)exercising.

I have a wonderful hubby of 3 years who is also my best friend, 3 terrific kids and 4 (soon 5) beautiful grandkids. My hubby and I live in Michigan where we are both self proclaimed computer geeks..

I used the Levi Straus site for my profile photo which is me at my short term goal of 155.
