Bill 3.0…
First, I’ll admit that I’m not around much, but stay in contact with some people here. So, if you comment, I’ll get back to you.

What does Bill 3.0 look like? He’s nothing like the Bill of the past few years. Gone is the guy who ran a marathon. Gone is the guy who ran plenty of half-marathons. In fact, I was LAST in walking the last 5K I entered; JASR ’15. Also gone is the guy who’d cycle for hours upon hours. The past is the past; done, over. Some issue still remain…plantar fasciitis and Achilles’ tendonitis.

Bill 3.0 is working on a total package, mind and body. Getting real, raw with my WHY. Reprogramming my brain to take care of me, my temple. This time around it’s nice to have someone close by who shares my passion for living a healthier lifestyle. I originally started out working in the gym, but quickly fell off that with running and cycling. I’m finding that being strong is as important as having a solid cardio base…especially as getting older. Can’t wait to get rid of this fat to see all these great muscles POP!

Will Bill 3.0 run another marathon? Cycle 100’s of miles? Plan it, but will see what the body thinks. I’ve got the nutrition on lock, so it boils down to staying active and making smart choices when poor options are presented. Keep your eyes peeled for further updates…maybe even a blog…pictures

My Goals:
Get back to being active more than being inactive. I'm no longer a runner, need to embrace the walk until that can change. Get back on the bike next spring and have lost enough weight not to feel I'll destroy the bike in the process.

My Program:
Getting up at 4 each morning to hit the gym before work...otherwise it just wouldn't happen.

Personal Information:
I currently reside in Marion, Ohio. This is about 1 hour north of Columbus (Go Bucks!)

Other Information:
"I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become."

You are doing an awesome job keep it up. I can totally relate with your story as I also opened my eyes and realized something had to be done. I am also wanting to run a 5k the thought of a triathlon has begun swirling around in my head and I want to go skydiving. I really liked the line of re-introducing yourself, I get the same reactions from people that I know but have not seen me for some time. Keep it up and once you get into the 200's you will feel this even larger sense of accomplishment than you did when you made it into the 400's and 300's. I can guarantee that because my goal before re-evaluation is 240lbs and once i made it to 298 I had this feeling come over me because I knew I was less than 60lbs from my goal. I was also a little scared because I started to think OK once I get there what am I going to do since this is kind of new territory for me. Have you ever found yourself helping others out or getting asked questions about how you are doing it and what have you done? Well keep up the great work and you are so close.
