RUTHIEBEAR
Here we are in 2016. whether you have been on this journey for years or for months, you know it is hard. Natalie Grant recorded a song a few years ago that gives me the strength to keep going when I am struggling. I hope it will minister to you also.
ou are here in my heart You're the light that guides me through the dark You walk beside me, the night seems cold each time I fall Your arms are there to hold
You walk beside me, giving strength I've never known And I am not alone You walk beside me (I am not alone)
You are here in my mind I talk to you and all my fears unwind I know I'm loved, for who I am, you make me want to be the best that I can And you walk beside me, giving strength I've never known
And I am not alone You walk beside me Oh, I am not alone Wherever the road leads
And I rely on your patience When I face the unknown And because of you, I am, I am not alone, ooh I am not alone (I am not alone)
You're always beside me, yeah, I am not alone Oh yeah, yeah in the sun, in the rain (I am not alone) Through the good times and in the pain You're always beside me I reach out for your hand (I am not alone) I know that you understand, oh yeah, yeah (I am not alone)
In the sun, in the rain Through the good times and in the pain You're always beside me I reach out for your hand (I am not alone) I know that you understand, oh

WHat is your favorite Christmas Carol?? I challenge you this week before Christmas to read the words to every verse of that carol and meditate on their meaning. Focus on WHO this season is about. May your heart be open to what the Lord will do to show you HIS love this week. Merry Christmas. Christ the Savior is born. Ruthie 1860 days ago

In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan, Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone; Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow, In the bleak midwinter, long ago.
Our God, heaven cannot hold Him, nor earth sustain; Heaven and earth shall flee away when He comes to reign. In the bleak midwinter a stable place sufficed The Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ.
Enough for Him, Whom cherubim, worship night and day, Breastful of milk, and a mangerful of hay; Enough for Him, Whom angels fall before, The ox and ass and camel which adore.
Angels and archangels may have gathered there, Cherubim and seraphim thronged the air; But His mother only, in her maiden bliss, Worshipped the beloved with a kiss.
What can I give Him, poor as I am? If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb; If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part; Yet what I can I give Him... give my heart.
One of my favorite Christmas hymns. Let us remember the baby in the manger who came to give us life, as we celebrate this season.
