I NEED TO CHANGE!
Ok.......I am trying to come back.............again. The past few years have been horrible for my personal and financial life. I had two neck surgeries in 3 months and since then been on a downhill slide. I need so much support and am not getting it at home. I am scared to exercise or too depressed to, or....just too lazy. I have pain most days so it is really hard to get going. I just can't let myself gain anymore weight.

I know what I have to do to lose weight. I know I can't keep putting it off for tomorrow, or next week, or next month. Why can't I JUST DO IT?!

My Goals:
I would like to learn to make healthy choices for a healthy lifestyle without having to obsess about it. I would love to reach my goal of 120 lbs, but I realize the number on the scale isn't as important as my fitness level and the way my body feels. I have pain almost all the time. I had two surgeries recently and since them there has been some improvement with pain, but not fixed. I know I need to get moving and exercising but I think I am scared or depressed or ...?

My ulitimate goal is to start living life...and not waiting to live "after" I lose the weight.


My Program:
WHAT PROGRAM? Booo! That's the problem. I am not doing anything anymore.

I know I have to:

Tracking/Journaling all of my food.

Drinking a ton of water.

Cardio: 30-60 mins/day x 5x/week.

Strength training: 15 mins/day x 2x/week.(Gotta get better about strength training)

Will start walking again once Spring hits! And will get back to Yoga once the Back Doc gives me the go ahead. He said NO YOGA, which is weird because I have always heard it is great for strength and flexibility in your core, which is what I need, but I will listen to him. I have numerous slipped/herniated discs in my back, and degenerative disc disease, so that's an obstacle I have to contend with. Oh well, we all have "something".

Something that has also helped me: Spreading light and positive thoughts, creating positivity in all that I come across, forgiving those who I should have forgiven years ago AND loving and forgiving myself.

    hey you know I just added you to my prayer list. Hey you can do this, I am so glad that despite all the things you have been through, with your weight that you have not given up on you.     If anybody's interested, I recently joined a team and they're AWESOME! It's workout AFTER work challenge - New Zealand (no I'm not from New Zealand but the team leader is). It's people from all over encouraging everybody to workout each nite. You pledge to the group to workout a certain amount of time a certain amount of days per week. Each week the team leader tallies our numbers and posts them for us to see how we did. What a great group of people too.
