    Thanks for commenting on my blog regarding my vision board. I was just reading your 2019 blog. How did you do in 2019? I am a long time single mom of 2 young men, 1 on his own and 1 soon to be. We are in a similar place. I joined Spark in 2009 under a different name and loved it, but wasn't very motivated to actually lose weight.

    Since having started anew in 2019, I have made great changes in my lifestyle and do not consider myself dieting. Drinking water and giving up all soda has been the biggest change for me and I believe the best thing I have done for myself to date. Drinking all that water through the day does help to fill your belly and keep you from having the desire to eat very much. I pretty much have given up red meat too and processed foods. Not really intentionally, it's just worked out that way.

    The vision board is just another motivator for me. I have spent the last 3 weeks or so looking for photos in magazines and going through stuff at dollar stores, etc for little stickers and such. The journey looking for things has been just as motivating as the vision board. It has also helped me to focus on what I want with this lifestyle change. I recommend you do one.

    I too am a single mom (to a now-grown-up daughter); and years of working and keeping a home led to me not taking good care of myself. It took me a while to change focus and start taking care of myself but it's been SO worth it! You have so much enjoyment and triumph to look forward to! I hope for you all good things!!!
