I have been trying to lose weight for a long time now. I have been recovering, slowly from knee injuries. I am now seeing a registered dietician. We shall see where this takes me. I have had only minimal success with dieting. I lose 15 pounds then stall out and then keep gaining and losing the same 5 pounds over and over again. No one can believe that I actually weigh, measure, read all labels (I have to, I'm gluten sensitive) and stay within calorie limits and don't lose weight. I actually gained weight on WW. It was more food than I normally eat. So, here we go again, I am hoping and praying for a solution. My joints (knees and ankles) will thank me when I am successful.

UPDATE: I'm on thyroid medication now. Hope this makes a difference!

My Goals:
I want to be fit as I get older and be around to see my grandkids grow up. I want to be active and flexible and look good as I get older.

Basically, I want to look and feel good!

I reached my goal of under 200 pounds by the end of 2011!!!!

Haven't set a goal for 2012 yet, except for consistent exercise in 2012.

My Program:
I am journalling every bite.
Staying lower carb.

I go to a one hour water aerobics class 4 times a week. Excellent for getting good cardio and for getting the joints moving again.

Personal Information:
I travel a lot and love it. This is another reason to be fit and feel good.

I am a dedicated Christian and love to do mission work.

Love to use my Leki trekking poles.

Other Information:
I had success previously with limiting my carbs and increasing my protein. I will try it again!

Recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. No wonder nothing was working!!
