I'm 56 going on 57 and need to lose weight. As all of us have some difficult times with health issues so do I. So I eat to whenever I feel I have a problem. Emotional eating, I guess is what's called. I live in a nursing home, (a good one) but I really don't have a say in what I can eat. We have a menu and have to abide by that. So my choices are limited. Not much fresh fruit or veggies here. I have to get them myself. But as our weather has been really bad here all winter, (blizzard after blizzard) it was impossible to go to the store.
I do a lot of crafts and play on facebook. I love them both. And of late I have even not been doing them mush. I've have been sick a lot lately and I'm sure I'm just tired of being sick.
Wow, that was a very long time ago. I'm now 66 years young. I'm out of the nursin home and livin with my best friend and partner, Jessie Boss. He is one in a million. We both have our disabilities but we help each other in every way we can. He's my arm and legs and I'm his brain when we need it. We both have service dogs. Gidget is Jessie's dog and Ziva is mine. Gidget is a seizure alert service dog and Ziva is my psychiatric service dog. We live in a great apartment and get along with our neighbors. Unless one of'em starts ta smoke cig or grass in here. That isn't allowed in the buildin. It's a great life. We don't always have money ta buy thangs but we have each other and ta me that's all that counts. As long as the bills are paid I'm good.

My Goals:
My goals have changed since I first started SparkPeople. My goals now are ta still lose over 120 lbs. and ta figure out what I can and can't eat. My health has pretty bad lately so that is very important ta figure out.

My Program:
I have NO program but ta move more and watch what I eat. I think I might have ta try some of the Keto Diet.

Personal Information:
I'm with Jessie Boss and he is a Great Man. He helps me with my chores and can do what I can't do. It took me a long time ta be able ta ask for help. When your sick and need the help ya might as well get what ya need.

Other Information:
I Love ta sew, quilt, crochet and be on SparkPeople.

    Welcome back to Sparkpeople so glad you have returned.

    You mentioned having IBS - I suffer from that also - and finding food that does not trigger an attack can be challenging but it can be done. Use the food tracker here to track all food making notes on how the food reacts re IBS.

    Consider going to your sparkpage and updating it - when doing so remember to start by putting in the date so that we can see when you updated it

    Also remember to participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined as that is where you will receive a lot of encouragement and motivation
