My name is Brenda. I am 48. I have 2 boys, 27 and 20. I have high cholesterol and a family history of heart disease so I want to lose weight, eat healthier, and get more exercise. I love that there is so much support and information right here. It helps a lot. I've lost weight before, but never kept it off for very long. I've lost the weight and met my goal (several times)! Now if I can just get back to goal weight and figure out how to maintain it... Update: COVID 19 has not been good for me. I've gained 9 pounds over the last year despite trying my best to lose weight. I've tried everything I can think of, but I'm realizing that I can't do it on my own. I need to take advantage of the resources and motivation on SparkPeople. I know it works. I need to make the time and commit to making my health a priority.
