The Last 9 Pounds
I meet with a personal trainer twice a week and worked out daily during the summer, but when school started I can't find the time. I rarely get even 5 hours of sleep. I am in good shape overall, but still have some belly fat and hips to lose that I never had before perimenopause. I am making drastic changes in my diet like moving towards vegetarianism and cutting refined foods. It is working; two years ago I had high cholesterol and triglycerides, but brought them down by the next year with ...
I meet with a personal trainer twice a week and worked out daily during the summer, but when school started I can't find the time. I rarely get even 5 hours of sleep. I am in good shape overall, but still have some belly fat and hips to lose that I never had before perimenopause. I am making drastic changes in my diet like moving towards vegetarianism and cutting refined foods. It is working; two years ago I had high cholesterol and triglycerides, but brought them down by the next year with diet and exercise alone. My trainer says I need to count my calories and get 7-8 hours of sleep to meet my goal. But I hate writing down my food and fight going to bed at a normal time. So these are my two highest targets for improvement.

This summer I am doing 5 days a week Boot Camp that my trainer leads. It has made a difference to work that hard 5 days a week instead of 2!
