new life, new beginning, here I come

Due to some personal crisis in my life, I got into depression, I 'd gained 50 lbs within 2 years , it was horrible , I was looking for love in foods. cuz' food is like an instant comfort , when I felt like I was trapped in a room with no doors or window, foods were all I saw .
thinking, maybe i could drown myself with all these food. trying to stuff myself with food hoping it going to hide my loneliness away .I felt inadequate , so I ate more, I ate more, then I felt more useless .. it was like a horrible cycle .

my A-ha moment was when my health went downhill, I decided I need to take control of the whole situation . I guess deep down inside of my heart, I knew I would find a way out, I knew I was so much better than that. I knew I could do better .
Eventually, I decided to find the old me back.
I began to read all the information about losing weight and eat healthy. and I came across this site , and I am stuck ever since =D ( in a super good way of course )

And I am truly thankful for God showing me this site. I 'd learned so much from here, everyone 's stories. knowing positive thinking = positive result .Seeing all the people 's successful stories on losing weight, knowing if they can do it, so can I .

I am still on this journey and I am so excited that one day, I gonna see the skinny me! One day I gonna wear the skinny jeans that I once wore and walk on the street and knowing I am pretty and I am worthy for all of this.

PS. hopefully, one day my sparkpage will become a inspiration to others too .

Here are some quotes that I read it on this site, from people 's sparkpage or quotes that I got from some other site.
posting all the quotes here to remind me that I can make it as well.

¢¾''Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. ''--Marianne Williamson

¢¾"This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind...let it be something good." --Unknown

¢¾When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around. -Willie Nelson

¢¾"In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can." --Michael Korda

¢¾"I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it."

¢¾ "Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great." --Mark Twain( amen to that ! )

¢¾ In everything you do, youre going to hit a wall, where youre exhausted, frustrated, and you just want to quit?
Its what you do after that moment that makes the difference.
When you want to give up, its not about the brick wall, its about character.
Pride. Commitment. Excellence.

Face it. Nobody owes you a living - what you achieve or fail to achieve in your lifetime is directly related to what you do or fail to do.
No one chooses his parents or childhood, but you can choose your own direction.
Everyone has problems and obstacles to overcome, but that too is relative to each individual.
Nothing is carved in stone!
You can change anything in your life if you want it badly enough.
Excuses are for losers.
Those who take responsibility for their actions are the real winners in life.
Winners meet life's challenges head on, knowing there are no guarantees, and give it all they've got.
They never think it's too late or too early to begin.
Time plays no favorites and will pass whether you act or not.
Take control of your life!
Dare to dream and take risks...
If you aren't willing to work for your goals, don't expect others to.
Believe in yourself!

¢¾"Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't - you're right." Henry Ford

¢¾'' Life is not easy for any of us, but what of that? We must have perseverance and, above all, confidence in ourselves.

¢¾''Wisdom is knowing what to do next, skill is knowing how to do it, and virtue is doing it.''

¢¾''If at first you don't succeed, you're running about average.''

¢¾''Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.''

¢¾''Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.''

¢¾"The Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.

¢¾Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

- Dale Carnegie

¢¾The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own. You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president. You realize that you control your own destiny.
