A lifetime of change
I am 5'3'' and 3/4 inches tall and use to weigh 357lbs at my heaviest. I am not really sure how I got to be that heavy. It almost seems like I woke up one morning and there it was true thunder thighs and a gut to match. I reached a point when I had had enough and thought gastric bypass would be my answer. Well, I was denied that option because I was a healthy fat person, if one even exists! So I had to do it on my own. It has been an up and down ride. I have lost more than a 150lbs and then I ...

Well, I was denied that option because I was a healthy fat person, if one even exists! So I had to do it on my own. It has been an up and down ride. I have lost more than a 150lbs and then I reached a long plateau. I am just thankful that the scale did not go too far in reverse before I realized I needed to get serious again. I have tried every diet under the sun and honestly, I am tired of dieting. I really like the Spark plan I don't feel like I am dieting at all. It has also helped me realize why I eat. This has become a journey that is not so much about weightloss as it is about learning about me. It is time.

My Goals:
I really want to turn the scale around so that it starts to decrease instead of holding fast! I need to add exercise to my life daily. I am fairly active but not cardio active.
My Program:
I am starting slow but steady, I track my food daily...EVERYTHING! I do two 10 minute cardio sessions 3x/wk and strength train 2x/wk, add one fun day and a day of rest then start again! I got this program from Prevention Mag.
Personal Information:
I am a native of Wilmington, DE but don't let that fool you...I've been everywhere man!
Other Information:
I love a good action movie where things get blown up or a really good side aching comedy, but I am definately not a fan of the psychos or scary, too realistic for me!

Just strolling through SPARK to announce that today is "WORLD SAUNTERING DAY! "(from the website Holiday Insights)
The dictionary defines sauntering as walking along slowly, happily and aimlessly. Now, doesn't this sound like a wonderful way to get around?"
Why not get outside and saunter through the park or down your block?
(((( Sending SKINNY Vibes! )))) and strong, strolling feet!
