LIFESTYLE MENU CHANGES: SUBSTITUTE LO CAL & LO CARB VEGGIES FOR JUNK!
LIFE GOAL : EAT MORE GOOD FOODS - LESS JUNK
DIET GOAL: LOSE ANOTHER 100+ LBS.

Some vitamins & supplements help when combined with improved nutrition.

There is no 'magic bullet' BUT there are some supplements that do aid when combined with healthier grocery shopping choices.

Before considering a supplement, you need to get your menu in order. Bottom line whatever you decide will be based on whatever you first ingest !

Meal Substitutions: Instead of quitting or depriving yourself of a favs or **bad foods , try to substitute some or all of the **bad food, with an additional 'good food' !

Start eating the 'good' in addition to your normal eating and gradually you will abandon the **bad foods !

The more you fill in on low cal/ low carb good foods , the less you will want of whatever else you typically eat with them, so will naturally begin to wean off some of the **bad foods
[**bad =being high carb / high cal and junk foods].

Buy and use more lo carb / lo cal veggies such as :
Fresh or Frozen Broccoli - eat a 12 oz bag a day total for 4 servings of veggies, mix or match
Fresh or Frozen Cauliflower - eat a 12 oz bag a day total for 4 servings of veggies, mix or match
Fresh or Frozen Spinach - eat a 12 oz bag a day total for 4 servings of veggies, mix or match
Fresh or Frozen Brussles Sprouts- eat a 12 oz bag a day total for 4 servings of veggies, mix or match
{If you just add and use the above veggies eating at least 12 oz per day you will lose weight}

Lettuce - salads, wraps, use in place of breads crackers or pasta
Cucumbers - salads - snacks
Celery - salads - snacks - in soups
Cabbage - salads - steam fry - wraps - soups

Strawberries satisfy sweet urges ~!

Trying to eat at least 5-6 combined servings daily for Veggies & fruits and drinking 6 liters of water

Using Healthier fats : olive oil, use butter - no margarine!
Using Heavy Cream instead of Coffee Creamer! Recently added Coffee Mate Natural Bliss 1/2 almond 1/2 cocunut creamer

Using Whole Milk instead of lowfat milk in cooking~!

Increasing Proteins: Eggs , Meats, Cold Cuts, Cheeses
*Keeping hard boiled eggs on hand in fridge can be used in salads or for high protein snacks!

If you are over 30BMI - skip the nuts & grains til you are achieve your weight goal!

Not all otherwise Healthy foods are the same to use if you have a metabolism issue with carbs!

Carbonation in soda whether diet or regular causes fat cells to hold in sludge! It messes up the normal apoptosis and osmosis cycles at the cellular level. Used to drink diet pepsi daily for 50 years and never lost an ounce~
Weaned off carbonated drinks ! They all will hinder weight loss~!!

Chicory Root Powder - Aids in Weight loss, prebiotic Inulin, heart, cholesterol, arthritis, diabetes, cancer, - Bought it for Arthritis but suddenly started losing weight faster!!

Caralluma Fimbriata - curbs hunger taken in morning will prevent hunger urges.
Garcinia Cambogia - curbs hunger taken in morning will prevent hunger urges.
Chromium GTF Compounded with Yeast 200mcg 1 x a day taken with Niacin 100mg
aids pancreas in converting carbs/fats to energy to burn when taken with Niacin to stimulate osmosis of fat cells causing a 'flush' to expel fats cholesteral and sludge from fat cells.
Must be taken together once a day. No increased value above recommended dose.

Flax Seed Oil - [omegas 3,6,9, alpha linoic acid] helps facilitate fat burning.
Probiotics - Lactobacillus & others - good for intestinal health and weight loss.

After trying numerous diets & aids, failing at all of them due to poor carb metabolism, I stopped dieting the old ways.

I now do all of the above and so far since March of this year.

So far, I have lost 65+ lbs without ever going hungry.

50 of those pounds came off since June 19th~ after changing my grocery list and menu substitutes plus adding the chicory root powder once a day.

The substitutes I use are broccoli cauliflower spinach brussels sprouts which helped me wean off the breads pastas potatoes, rice and other high carb foods I used to eat regularly.

I also increased the fresh veggies and fruits (strawberries) and have cut out the beans and grains since I don't lose significant weight when using them.

I have a carb metabolism issue as evidenced by every failed diet I have ever been on!

My Goals:
Loose over 100 lbs in a fast and healthy way, so I can get my hip replacement and spinal surgery
My diet has a name ! Its called Dirty Keto that you use macros over calories but watch both.
Its protein based emphasizing meats and low carb veggies which is what I have been doing for months~!


My Program:
12 oz bag of frozen veggies each day alternating : BROCCOLI , CAULIFLOWER, SPINACH and/or Lettuce
12 oz meat - chicken , beef or pork
Optional
3-4 slices cheese - American white or yellow, mozzarella, muenster , swiss or whatever
1-3 Tbs unsweetened butter
spices lots of calorie/carb free spices!
Chicory Root Powder 1 scoop added to water or anything else!



Personal Information:
Have had trouble losing weight since I was struck by a car. Now sedentary and regained most of the weight I lost in 2004
Need a hip replacement and spinal surgery but have to lose 100 lbs first.
Been struggling up and down 20 l bs all year.
Weaned off diet soda and bread/pastas
Eating more green veggies.
Taking safe supplements
Started Chicory Root recently and its helping me dr0p weight fast.


Other Information:
I do 12/12 that is I eat a least one 12 ounce bag of frozen veggies daily -[ keto friendly] - broccoli, cauliflower. spinach, brussels sprouts etc optionally with either butter or cheese sauces mixed using greek yogurt &
I try to eat 12 oz of meat a day with some protein substation of 5-7+ eggs a week, mostly hard boiled and chopped up with salad but sometimes like a small omelet with cheese
I drink at almost two 3 liter bottles of water each day as well as a pot of coffee or tea [black or green tea]
I switched from Splenda to sometimes using Stevia as a sweetener. [Stevia has a bad aftertaste] but goin to get Swerve or Monk Fruit next month!
I mix and match these foods with spices and bits of onions peppers mushrooms sometimes so far all satisfying and most importantly helping a healthier lifestyle while losing weight..

Anyway that's where I found you and it seems to me I remember you (I hope it was you) saying something about wanting to find a team that has information on Keto and IF or Intermittent Fasting.
