I'm a HUGE Survivor fan and got this buff from my kiddo. Never thought I'd squeeze into it!
About 168 lbs. gone...and that poor blue shirt thanks me for not stretching it so far anymore!

I want to be a loser again!
I'm Autumn, a 49-year-old freelance book editor and writer, secretary, and single mother of one amazing daughter. I started my weight-loss journey in January 2014, at a sad 329 lbs. I originally set out to hit a goal of 155 lbs., and I hit that on April 11, 2016, relying mostly upon the Spark Nutrition Tracker to help me maintain a daily 1,200 or so calories. In the years that followed, I messed up and regained much of what I'd lost. Now, I'm on another quest, because I KNOW I can do it (and ...

In the years that followed, I messed up and regained much of what I'd lost. Now, I'm on another quest, because I KNOW I can do it (and so can YOU, by the way). My current goal is to reach 145 lbs., to be in my 140s in my forties (which are quickly dwindling). If I accomplish this goal, I will have lost a total of 184. My jobs are very sedentary, I don't exercise much at all, and I'm the world's worst cook, but for me, calorie-counting works (as you can see in the pics I posted on here during my last successful journey). I want to get back into those thinner clothes I wore in the thinner pictures on here, and I will. My daughter and sister are on similar quests, and it helps to have their support. If we can do it, so can you!

My Goals:
I rejoined Spark to help me look and feel better. I started at 329 lbs. on 1-1-14, and I hit my goal of 155 lbs. on April 11, 2016, a loss of 174 lbs. I am now aiming for 145, to hit the "140s in my 40s," and I'll be 50 in September of 2020! I hope to be an encouragement to others who struggle with weight issues, because I know how difficult and painful it is.
My Program:
I do not believe anyone has to pay any program to help them lose weight. It's really simple: Do not flood your engine or fill it with the wrong kind of fuel. Determining and monitoring caloric intake with Spark or similar programs WILL work if you are honest and accountable to it, and I am the living proof. When in weight loss mode, I eat around 1,200 calories daily (300 for breakfast and lunch, 400 for dinner, and 200 for snacks/condiments/beverages), and I use the Spark Nutrition Tracker to help me keep track. Adjustments will be made when I move into maintenance, but whenever I see weight coming back on, I know my trusty 1,200 will help me take it off again!
Personal Information:
I am a single mother in Ohio, where I live with my beautiful daughter and four belovedl dogs. I have a knack for typing, filing, and data entry, so that's my day job, but I'm also a part-time book editor and freelance writer with a few bylines under my hopefully shrinking belt.
Other Information:
I enjoy geocaching, spending time with family, writing, watching stupid reality TV and original movies (never remakes!). I'm a huge fan of Twin Peaks, Survivor, The Office, The Golden Girls, and Breaking Bad. I also enjoy journaling and scrapbooking, casual bicycling, hiking/walking bike trails, collecting retro toys from the 70s and 80s, picnicking in our beautiful parks...and I hope to get back on eight wheels soon, picking up my roller-skating hobby from many years ago (though I admit at pushing-50, I fear breaking a hip!)
