Hi everyone,

I have never been obese or even overweight in my entire life. Actually, In fact I had been rather thin or normal. But going away to college had been very stressful and after I graduated from high school, I decided that I wanted to lose a little weight and fell into a hard eating disorder. During my freshman year in college that I suffered from a severe case of exercise anorexia and bulimia. I have to say that period was the loneliest and the scariest time of my life. However, with the support of family, friends, therapy and (most importantly) help of God, I was able to come out of that dark pitt. I have gained some weight along the process of recovery and I would like to lose it. I am upset by the weight gain but it was worth it for the recovery. I'm so thankful for the life I have right now and I would like to live it to the fullest.

I am still very passionate about exercise but I always have to remember not to over-push myself. I would like to lose my recovery weight in a healthy way. I still struggle with all or nothing thinking and get into a cycle of eating a big, unhealthy meal only to follow up with not eating for the entire day or undereating the next day. Same with exercise too. It's either I do nothing and sit on my couch or push myself all the way until I can't walk anymore. I would like to stop this unhealthy habit by balancing my meals and workouts and hopefully Sparkpeople can teach me!! :)

My Program:
I'm basically following the Slimfast diet. I know some people think it's pointless and I know others that love it. For me, I like it because it helps me portion my meals. Not to mention I do not like cooking either... ^^
