Introduction Text I have been overweight and obese all my life and now want to become healthy the right way. You can't teach an old dog new tricks and I want to change that phrase. I'm 76 and due for a change of lifestyle. I have 70 pounds to lose and I am going to set mini goals until I get there. I want to be around with my daughter and family and especially my two cats. I will need lots of help along the way.

My goals are to lose 70 lbs the spark way and to be able to increase my walking. With arthritis in my knees, it becomes painful standing and walking distance so need for fitness with these problems. MINI GOALS 10 lbs -reached Nov. 10/11 20 lbs - reached July 14/12 25 lb.10%Sept.7/12 30 lbs - Sept. 20/12 35 lbs. -Nov. 3/12 40 lbs - Dec. 24/12 45 lbs. 50 lbs 55 lbs. 60 lbs 65 lbs. 70 lbs 75 lbs. 80 lbs 85 lbs.

I am trying to follow this program, become healthy and lose weight as well.

I am a big NASCAR fan, love Dale Earnhardt Jr. who has now retired from racing. I have arthritis in my knees and shoulders and need an exercise program that will help. I am 76, have one daughter who has been encouraging and I know will be really supportive. I have two cats Ginger, calico and Harley,pure white with emerald green eyes. and Gibson who is a Norweigeon Forest Cat, smoky grey. great buddies.My three cats shown here have passed away in my arms and I have 2 new ones, Pixie, a 7 year old Torishell and Franklin, who is 11 years old, a big orange and white boy.
