hi im angela. im 23 i have lost 76 ponds over the last 2 years but recently i have gained 10 pounds back putting me at 170 pounds!! so i have a over all goal of losing 30 pounds and a 15 pound goal by feb. 14th. my plan is workout dvds, dieting of 900 cals a day, and taking my son outside everyday. ive done it b4 im sure i can do it again. i just have to get focused and finish it this time. i have struggled with my weight all of my life. when i started my diet at 16 i got down to 179 and once again im down to 170. i would love to finish my goal this time and be healthy.. if anyone wants is looking 4 support friends and wants to be one send a msg =)

my goal is to exercise daily, eat 900 to 1100 calories, find a diet buddy and get healthy of course.

My Program:
looking 4 people dealing with the same things. eating healthy and low calorie foods, exercising with biggest loser dvds and journalism.

Personal Information:
my name is angela. im 23 and have a wonderful 4 year old son. i have been going on and off diets my whole life. im finally only 30 pounds away from my goal which is pretty good cause 2 years ago i was about 100 pounds away. im ready to finally meet my weight lose goal and maintain a healthy weight.

Other Information:
i like all music. i like the twilight books and movies. i like 2 make and complete my goals. i like writing, talking and shopping. i guess im kind of a "girly girl" "if u cant handle me @ my worst then u sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." - Marilyn Monroe

    Happy New Year and congrats on taking the first step to reaching a healthier you! I'm glad you're getting active with SparkPeople - it's a great community, wonderful resources and fantastic support.

    Please check out the SparkTeams - I think you will find a lot of others 'just like you' there. You can choose SparkTeams by age group, lifestyle or interests, geographic location or several other ways - in fact, I suggest joining more than one group, post your intro there and write blogs as often as you can - you will find tons of friends and support that way, I promise!!

    In my experience, SparkPeople is like a emoticon in some ways - it's lots of fun and easy to make friends because we're all in this together. I like the way a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE is emphasized instead of a 'quick fix wonder diet' - it's about waaaaaay more than 'just' losing weight so you have definitely come to the right place!


    If you ever need any help using features of the site, there are tutorial videos under the HELP section that can show you how to use the features of the site. You can also find them on the START page and several other places on the site.


    If you haven't discovered The Spark book and/or the SparkDiet linked at the bottom of the START page, check them out - the program is simple but extremely effective. There is a TON of information on this site - so much it might even seem overwhelming but fortunately we don't have to 'digest' everything at once! The FastBreak program is a good way to start.


    Another nice thing about SparkPeople is that we have permission to be human - we don't have to change everything at once or be in a hurry to reach our goals. Take a few baby steps and then a few more and before you know it, you'll have completed a long journey - I hope you enjoy this community as much as I do - it teaches us how to make positive lifetime changes because that's the only thing that will work over time!

    Glad you are here! You will find so much support and make new friends! This is a great place to learn about healthy eatting and the right way to exercise.
