Introduction Text I had a baby in April of 2010 and am now 20 pounds over my pre-baby weight. It's a challenge to find time to exercise as I work full time and want to spend all my free time with my daughter. I'm ready to lose that post baby 20 pounds, plus another 20 I was carrying before I got pregnant. Here goes!

I will make positive changes in my eating and exercise habits that I can maintain for a lifetime. I don't need to lose weight as fast as possible, I need to do it in a way I can maintain.

I am tracking my calorie intake to see where I can make changes to improve my diet. I would like to add more stretching, cardio and strength training to my exercise routine.

I am a Seattle area native, though I have lived in San Diego and Phoenix in the past. I currently work in Type 1 Diabetes Research, which I like very much. I am also applying to school, hoping to get into a program to become a diagnostic ultrasound tech. Major hobbies include sewing, photography and music.

My first (and only) child was born in April, she's awesome.
