Hello! I'm Angelina. I'm 24 from California. I have been on spark people for almost 2 months. I just met my weight goal yesterday and couldn't be happier about it. I plateaued for about two weeks and I thought I was going to be stuck at that weight but now here I am actually a pound under my goal weight. So my advice to everyone trying to meet their goals is a little cliche but so true! Don't give up and stay consistent!! Just because the scale doesn't move as much as you would like it doesn't mean your efforts aren't paying off! Just convince your self exercising and eating healthy is not an option. It is just something you have to do like going to work or brushing your teeth. Sometimes things happen and your exercise for the day just is not going to happen but don't just give up on the whole week because you missed one day. I realized if I missed a day the next day I would be less motivated the next morning also. Then I finally hit three days of no working out because I kept telling myself "tomorrow, tomorrow". I gave my self a slap on the wrist and got my butt out of bed and got back on track. And ta-da!... It did pay off!!! After that I promised myself no more telling myself tomorrow I'll do it. It almost became my downfall! The only person your hurting with laziness and procrastination is yourself....

I honestly never ever thought I would be 105 lbs again. I thought it was a total shot in the dark when I entered it as my goal weight and thought I was just doomed to being a pudgy short girl. Now every one keeps asking if I've lost weight and telling me I look so much skinnier. I'll admit though it does make me a little shy sometimes when people comment too much about. Makes me kind of feel like "Dang was I really that big?!" but I know they mean well and it does boost my confidence. And I know everyone else on here can get to that point to if they just stick with it and really dedicate theirselves to the fitness and nutrition goals spark people sets for them. So don't give up or give in to evil laziness!!

Even though I reached my goal weight I am still goin to keep tracking my food and exercise and probably go for a couple more pounds.(that's the biggest downfall of being as short as I am.. You can weigh 104 lbs and still have extra fat here and there) So I am also upping my strength training now that I feel more capable of harder workouts. I want to kick this last bit of jiggle in the butt! I am determined to get conpletely toned!!

My Goals:
-Reach 95 lbs by Nov 20
-Tone body all over aka NO MORE JIGGLE by???

My Program:
**JNL= Jennifer Nicole Lee's workouts from
-JNL: fusion workout, butt blaster and no more wiggle workouts = approx 1 hr
-stair cardio workout from Shape magazine (issue w/ Pink on the cover)fun and burns lots of calories quick!= 20 mins
-core workout(from same issue of Shape)=approx 25 minutes
-stair cardio
-Run/walk 3 miles=30-40 mins
or cardio workout (currently using 10 minute cardio routine from same issue of's fun but builds quite a sweat!)
Diet wise my goal is 1200-1500 calories a day. I try to stick to whole grains, lean protein and lots of fruits and vegetables.

My name is Angelina. I am 24 from northern California. I started spark people August 20 th after stumbling across it on accident. It has been such a big help! Can't wait to shed these last couple pounds.... And KEEP them OFF! I have never been this motivated and dedicated to anything my entire life and I must say I am pretty darn proud of myself :)

    Thank you for the comment on my blog.. I so agree with you and I am happy to know I am not the only one.. that feels this way when someone does say something and yea I like the idea fake it till I make it.

    Thanks for commenting on my blog, and its really encouraging to hear that you have been able to get rid of the headaches/shoulder pain with exercise and stretching. I have started doing some exercise, but will make sure to include stretching as well! Thank-you.
