Introduction Text Hi, my name is Jennie. I lost 40 pounds and reached my goal weight on 10/23/13. Since then, I injured my shoulder, and I regained weight and lost my mojo when I couldn't work out. I'm now focused on recovering fitness I lost to the injury. I enjoy Vinyasa yoga, walking, Netflix documentaries, the TV series The Office, spending time with my wife and daughter, and goofing around on Facebook. My focus is on living a healthy, balanced life. I can do this!

My long-term goals are to integrate maintenance skills, to enjoy fitness activities daily, and to feel lots of vitality.

I follow the DASH diet for my food plan (dashdiet.org). I lost 40 pounds and reached my goal weight on 10/23/13. Since then, I injured my shoulder, and I regained weight when I couldn't work out. I'm now focused on recovering fitness I lost to the injury. For fitness, I practice yoga daily using the Yoga With Adriene YouTube channel. I also use Leslie Sansone's in-home walking workouts and aim to walk 2-3 miles three or four times per week. I recently got a membership at my local botanical garden and have been enjoying walks there, too.

I was born in New England, but now live in Northeast Los Angeles. I'm the mom of a 12-year-old. I married my wife, the sweetest woman I know, in May 2014. I work full-time as a Supervisor for an Infant Development Program with infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities and delays.
