I am a busy new mummy...enjoying raising my beautiful little boy. I've been struggling through some anxiety/depression issues due to a recent job loss. I'm here because I'm stressed and tired and have just totally let myself go and I'm bummed about it! I lack motivation and time to devote to myself. I'm trying to make this a priority and am seeking support and motivation. I'm typically 20lbs lighter than I am and feel much better at that weight. I still have some weight to lose from having my son and I'd really like to tone up and feel better in general. Winter in NH doesn't help my cause much as I'm mostly stuck inside...so I'm also seeking ideas for staying active while I'm taking care of my son and not able to get outside as much as I would like.

Fitness Minutes: 215

My Goals:
My goals include taking 1 hour during the day of just "Mummy Time" and I want to use it to work out and take care of myself. I'll have to do it while my Son naps, so that is early afternoon.

Also, to use my time after he goes to bed at night to log progress here and to refocus myself after our day.

And, to get to bed earlier because we wake up so early and I'm wiped out by the end of the day, but I always seem to push myself to stay up later to finish laundry or whatever.

Also, I'd like to work on my diet. I'm on a budget and I have to make healthy meals for my Son that include higher fat foods for his growing brain and body. But, I don't need the fat so I'm switching to fat free milk and lower calorie foods. I like to eat with him, but we don't have to eat the same foods all the time. I think I'm going to try some diet foods, which I usually loathe. I'm not a soda drinker, but a huge problem of mine is that I don't drink hardly any water all day!


My Program:
My fitness program currently consists of alternating two fitness DVD's that I got for Christmas. The FIRM (power half hour) and Core Secrets (with an exercise ball). I've done them both and they're fun and only 30 mins each. So, I'm going to try to do them Sunday through Friday. and take Saturdays off.



Personal Information:
I'm bad at finishing things like this, once I start them. I always get amped up when I start a project, but run out of gas quickly...and revert back to my old lazy ways. I need motivation and support to help me keep my eyes on the prize.


Other Information:
I love my life!
