My name is Amy and I am trying to eat healthier and exercise more so I can live longer and enjoy my children more. Before I started on SparkPeople I was trying to diet, but was lacking balance in my foods and wasn't doing any strength exercises. Now that I have found some balance I feel much better and I sleep better and have much more energy than before. My lower back pain is gone now and I have battled that since I was a teenager. SparkPeople has also brought a tremendous amount of positivity into the way I look at things. And this positive outlook has given me many positive rewards including a new job. I can't wait to see what else I can accomplish!
I have returned after a year away and gaining everything back I lost cause stress just took over, but it has been very easy to get right back into the routine of logging foods and exercising and I have immediately felt the benefits of more energy and just feeling better over all. I will make this happen and have learned from my mistake of letting everyone else's stuff get in my way. This is the number one priority for me. If I can't take care of me then I will not be able to take care of everyone else.

4. always look for the positive in everything I do.
