Life is all about choices and change.
Where oh where have I been? I haven't been on the Spark in nearly 2 years and I admit I have missed it. I got caught up in my journey, life's stresses, my attempts to run a home based business etc. I got my weight down as low as 159 and am now back up to 174!! I lost my way, I lost my spark I let life take over and I made bad choices. But I am back now and I am aware that the only way for me to see permanent changes is for me to make permanent choices.
I remember the Spark ...

I remember the Spark community giving me so much support and the joy I got giving that support right back, so here I am. My ultimate goal is to hit 135 lbs, be healthy, happy and fierce.
I still cannot believe It has been 557 days since the last time I was on Spark. Crazy!!! It just goes to show that 'I'll do it tomorrow' can quickly morph into 'it never happened or damn where did the time go?!'.
A lil about me, I am a mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and daughter. I am a woman who has been 220 lbs and as small as 135. I am 5'1.5" for those who may be wondering. I have been morbidly obese, dealt with high cholesterol, high blood pressure , a brain aneurysm , fibroids, the loss of loved ones etc and still I go on. I have never given up on my journey but I have often sat stagnant and wanted to quit. I have many goals the foremost is to simply get to a healthy BMI and weight and stay there. I love supporting others and am smart enough to know I also need support. I have a lot of updates to do on my page so, for now ignore my blank goal and program box, that's coming soon.
I look forward to sharing blogs, pictures, failures and success with you all. Take care, remember that failures are merely your mile markers on your road to success; put them behind you and keep trekking on towards your goals.
"One of the most important things to remember when starting out is to know before hand that there will be hard days. Mentally prepare yourself that the scale will not always move each week, in fact some weeks it may go up some. This is normal. This does not mean that you are not on the right path. Stay focused and know that if you are consistent you will see results. Nothing is more important in this journey than persistence!! You will be tested, you will be tempted to eat the wrong things, you will want to quit, but if you hold on, you will reach goals, and what a day that will be"!
