Introduction Text Looking for support and encouragement to help towards a healthier lifestyle!

I am working towards a healthy overall lifestyle. My mom had diabetes and I would like to make sure it is not something I will ever have to deal with.

When I first started, my program was slow. And as I get bored easily, I wondered how long it would last. Also when it came to exercise, I was lazy!!! I've been at this now for approx 18 months and have lost 48 pounds so far. I've started changing my routine and find that I love working out! I love all the sweat and the aching muscles and I especially love shopping for smaller clothes! I'm an "constant gratification" type of girl so I love it when people notice the weight loss and compliment me on how great I look. Call me vain, but that keeps me working hard. That and the fact that I feel great!

My name is Jae and I am originally from a small village in Newfoundland, Canada. I am the second youngest of nine children. For any of you that have ever been to Newfoundland, eating is rarely considered healthy, these days more people are going that way, however I still love my desserts. Given all of that, I'm using SP to keep myself on track and I will succeed!!!

I am an avid reader, could read the back of a cereal box should I get stuck for nothing else to read. Recently discovered power walking and I think I have become addicted to the gym!
