Introduction Text I'm 48, married almost 4 years now, and live in the Midwest on Lake Michigan, after many other stops along the way. I'm originally from the Boston area. I have a ton of hobbies and even more responsibilities. I own my own business, am on a few major boards of cultural institutions, and am also an elected official (non-partisan office, thankfully). I think I try to enjoy most of what life has to offer. I've been very fortunate in that way. My activity shifts around according to life- weather, time of year, desires, etc but I do often have a lot of activity going on. My food is my downfall. I get lax, and cruise along. When I pay more attention and get more realistic the weight comes off. How's that for shocking?!?!?! lol

My goals are to actively work to keep on moving to a lighter, healthier life. The more I can move and do, the happier I'll be both short and long term!
