I am really going to make a positive change and hopefully with small goals set weekly I can do it this time. I am realistic and it took a long time to get here and I know it will take a long time to get where I want to be. I just hate this losing and gaining and losing and gaining. I probably would be close to goal if I would just lose. I am going to be down something when Dec. comes this year. I am hoping all my sparkfriends have a great year also. Teri

This is something worth reading over and over again. So I will put it here and I can see it whenever.

My Goals:
My goals are to go to my aquafit class at least 3 times a week. To try to walk more even if it hurts. To drink more water.

My Program:
I usually do daily aquafit but I have made my goal 3 times a week. I have been staying away from my sugar cravings and doing a good job

Personal Information:
My name is Teri and I live in Cambridge Ontario, Canada I have 4 grandchildren and 2 daughters who are the loves of my life.

Other Information:
I read a lot sometimes as many as 4-5 books a week. I am cutting back as I am getting more active now. I love James Patterson, Michael Connelly, Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich, John Grisham, Patricia Cornwell, there are many more but usually I stick with psychological thrillers and murder mysteries.

    HI 1Avery,
    Welcome to Calling all Canadians. I'm your neighbour over in Guelph! I am also a chronic reader (when I'm on vacation I need to be prepared with 2 books per day or I worry!) and one of the the things I'm doing is getting talking books from the library and using them to keep me moving while still entranced in a story. I'm committed to many of the same authors as you as well. We have an elliptical machine and listening will keep me on there for a full 30 minutes and then if I still want to listen I take the little boom box to where there is room on the floor to do my strength exercises. Frankly, I don't exercise with out it. TV just isn't the same thing at all. This might not be that useful for you as it sounds like you have pain, but the talking books are free at the library and it is a way of being read to while freeing you up to exercise if there is anything you can do. (I also only do housework to talking books...not a big fan of cleaning otherwise) Good luck on your journey!q
