What's your overall goal?
To lose 100 pounds and keep it off with lifestyle changes in my meal plans and exercise.
How is SparkPeople helping you get there?
I get to track my meal plans and be social with like-minded people who exercise and encourage and support each other. There are even challenges that really motivate and get me going in the right direction.
What's your biggest challenge right now?
Patience. Remembering it didn't get this way overnight. I can't rush it, I've done that SO many times in the past and gained it back plus some. I've got to do it right this time and be patient.
What advice do you have for someone who just joined SparkPeople?
Read the articles and join the community and do the challenges. But ultimately, it has to be you making the food choices and being honest with yourself. Don't rush it! Stay within calorie range and make exercise so much fun that you'll actually want to do it.
